Sponsorship for 32nd SOMChE2020

Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak , represented by DVC, Prof John Wilson, receives sponsorship of RM50000 for the 32nd Symposium of Malaysian Chemical Engineers 2020, from the General Manager of Sarawak Research and Development Council (Sarawak RDC), A/P Dr Peter Morin Nissom.

The Symposium will be held in Kuching from 9 to 10 April, 2020.

Memorandum of Agreement Signing

Two MoA were signed today, as initiatives of research programmes under Sarawak RDC ordinance. An agreement with Curtin Biovalley Sdn Bhd, to manage, operate and maintain the Sarawak Biovalley Pilot Plant, and a second agreement to establish a scientific exchange programme with University of Cambridge.

1. SIGNING OF AGREEMENT WITH CURTIN BIOVALLEY SDN. BHD

The Sarawak Research and Development Council (Sarawak RDC) will be signing an agreement with Curtin Biovalley Sdn. Bhd (CBV), to manage, operate and maintain the Sarawak Biovalley Pilot Plant located at Curtin University Malaysia Campus in Miri.  

2. EXCHANGE OF MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT DOCUMENT

The second ceremony will be an exchange of document between Sarawak RDC and University of Cambridge.
