Exploring services at Sarawak Biovalley Pilot Plant (SBPP)

Representatives from MC Biotech Brunei came over to the office to discuss potential research and services at The Sarawak Biovalley Pilot Plant. They were especially keen on the supercritical fluid extraction system. 

MC Biotech was represented by Mr. Tokuyama, the deputy GM, and Eric Lim, while SBPP was by Datu Ose.

We received visitors from Japan Science and Technology Agency (JSTA), and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), yesterday, 15th October, 2019. Discussion were on potential exchange of scientists between Sarawak and Japan, and collaboration in areas of biodiversity.

New type of cancer killing immune cells discovered

"Researchers at Trinity College Dublin have identified, for the first time in esophageal cancer, the cancer killing capability of a lesser-known type of immune cell, presenting a new potential therapeutic target. Their research is published in Frontiers in Immunology."
